UV Care Desiccant Rotary Dehumidifier is a technology that let air pass thru a honeycomb desiccant rotor (wheel) that features a large active dehumidification surface. The rotor is constructed of a fire retardant substrate impregnated with a high concentration of Silica Gel, resulting in a high adsorption capacity (ability to adsorb water molecules).
The humid air passes thru 75% of the rotor area, after that the air will be at a much lower moisture content due to the moisture extracted and absorb by the silica gels.
The dry air will be discharge to the room.
In order for this drying process to continue, the machine will discharge the wet air onto the outdoor area. In the same time the fresh reactivated air, will be heated up to a maximum of 120°C by a heater to dry the running rotor.
Due to the high air velocity, moisture does not condense in side the device, but it is blown out in the form of hot water vapor then discharged out through the duct.
